Derochie Industrial (Coaldale)
Our branch in Coaldale includes a 9000 square-foot heated shop and tank coating facility designed to accommodate tanks and larger equipment. It includes 3200 square feet of abrasive blasting area. we have the ability to accommodate equipment up to 135 feet long.
DP Painting Calgary
Derochie Protective Coatings in Calgary, our Industrial branch, specializes in field removal and application of industrial and specialty coatings. Industrial projects include bridges, refineries, water treatment and waste water treatment facilities, irrigation equipment, etc. We specialize in gas proofing, lead facilities, irrigation equipment, etc.
We specialize in gas proofing, lead abatement and other areas demanding a high degree of quality and environmental control, testing, and the use of the high-end specialty coatings.
With exception of the built-in equipment at our three shops, all of our major equipment is mobile which enables us to set up for field operations with lower costs and boost operations in shops.
With a selection of five plural component spray pumps, we can accommodate all office and field operations including a variety of plural coatings.
Our enclosed shop areas give us a controlled environment with no lost time due to rain, snow or wind along with meeting local environmental and safety guidelines.
Our facilities are set up for minimal handling, which in turn provides a faster turnaround and minimizes potential damaging of the finished product.
In Calgary, we also provide full-service coatings and surface preparation for wastewater treatment facilities, including abrasive blasting, gas-impermeable linings, and chemical-resistant coatings for high-risk environments. From digesters to clarifiers and beyond, we apply proven systems that meet strict industry and safety standards.
